Mojito

Ingredients for a Mojito

  • Light Rum
  • Lime
  • Sugar
  • Mint
  • Soda Water

Quantities for one drink:

  • 2-3 oz Light Rum
  • Juice of 1 Lime (1 oz)
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • 2-4 Mint Sprigs
  • Soda Water

Blending Instructions:

  • Lightly muddle the mint and sugar with a splash of soda water in a mixing glass until the sugar dissolve and you smell the mint
  • Squeeze the lime into the glass, add rum and shake with ice
  • Strain over cracked ice in a highball glass
  • Top with soda water, garnish with mint sprig and serve

Margarita

Ingredients for a Margarita

  • Tequila
  • Triple Sec
  • Lime Juice
  • Salt

Quantities for one drink:

  • 1 1/2 oz Tequila
  • 1/2 oz Triple Sec
  • 1 oz Lime Juice
  • Salt

Blending Instructions:

  • Rub rim of cocktail glass with lime juice, dip rim in salt
  • Shake all ingredients with ice, strain into the salt-rimmed glass, and serve

White Russian

Ingredients for a White Russian

  • Vodka
  • Coffee Liqueur
  • Light Cream

Quantities for one drink:

  • 2 oz Vodka
  • 1 oz Coffee Liqueur
  • Light Cream

Blending Instructions:

  • Pour vodka and coffee liqueur over ice cubes in an old-fashioned glass
  • Fill with light cream and serve

Caipirinha

Ingredients for a Caipirinha

  • Sugar
  • Lime
  • Cachaca

Quantities for one drink:

  • 2 tsp Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Lime (8 Wedges)
  • 2 1/2 oz Cachaca

Blending Instructions:

  • Muddle the sugar into the lime wedges in an old-fashioned glass
  • Fill the glass with ice cubes
  • Pour the cachaca into the glass
  • Stir well

Pina Colada #1

Ingredients for a Pina Colada #1

  • Light Rum
  • Coconut Milk
  • Pineapple Juice
  • Crushed Ice

Quantities for one drink:

  • 3 oz Light Rum
  • 3 Tblsp Coconut Milk
  • 3 Tblsp Pineapple Juice
  • Crushed Ice

Blending Instructions:

  • Put all ingredients into an electric blender with 2 cups of crushed ice
  • Blend at a high speed for a short length of time
  • Strain into a collins glass and serve with a straw

Mint Julep #1

Ingredients for a Mint Julep #1

  • Mint
  • Bourbon
  • Powdered Sugar
  • Water

Quantities for one drink:

  • 4 Fresh Mint Sprigs
  • 2 1/2 oz Bourbon
  • 1 tsp Powdered Sugar
  • 2 tsp Water

Blending Instructions:

  • Muddle mint leaves, powdered sugar, and water in a collins glass
  • Fill glass with shaved or crushed ice and add bourbon
  • Top with more ice and garnish with a mint sprig
  • Serve with a straw

Daiquiri

Ingredients:

  • Light Rum
  • Lime
  • Powdered Sugar

Quantities for one drink:

  • 1 1/2 oz Light Rum
  • Juice of 1/2 Lime
  • 1 tsp Powdered Sugar

Blending Instructions:

  • Shake all ingredients with ice, strain into a cocktail glass, and serve

Fruit Sangria

Ingredients:

  • Red Wine
  • Triple Sec
  • Brandy
  • Orange
  • Lemon
  • Peach
  • Cherries
  • Club Soda
  • Sugar Syrup
  • Ice

Quantities for one drink:

  • 1 L Red Wine
  • 2 oz Triple Sec
  • 4 oz Brandy
  • Juice of 1 Orange
  • Juice of 1 Lemon
  • 1 Peach
  • 10-20 Cherries
  • 1 Bottle Club Soda
  • 6 oz Sugar Syrup
  • Ice Cubes

Blending Instructions:

  • Pit cherries and soak in 2 oz of the brandy
  • Slice peach and soak in the other 2 oz of the brandy and all of the triple sec
  • Juice the lemon and orange into a pitcher and add the sugar syrup
  • Add the cherry and peach mixtures, and the red wine
  • Chill
  • To serve, fill a red wine glasses about 1/3 full with ice and add the alcohol/fruit mixture
  • Top with club soda to taste

Bloody Mary

Ingredients:

  • Vodka
  • Tomato Juice
  • Lemon Juice
  • Worcestershire Sauce
  • Tabasco Sauce
  • Lime

Quantities for one drink:

  • 1 1/2 oz Vodka
  • 3 oz Tomato Juice
  • 1 Dash Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2-3 Drops Tabasco Sauce
  • 1 Wedge Lime

Blending Instructions:

  • Shake all ingredients (except lime wedge) with ice and strain into an old-fashioned glass over ice cubes
  • Add salt and pepper to taste
  • Add the wedge of lime and serve

Long Island Iced Tea #1

Ingredients:

  • Vodka
  • Tequila
  • Light Rum
  • Gin
  • Coca-Cola
  • Lemon Peel

Quantities for one drink:

  • 1/2 oz Vodka
  • 1/2 oz Tequila
  • 1/2 oz Light Rum
  • 1/2 oz Gin
  • 1 Dash Coca-Cola
  • Twist of Lemon Peel (or Lime)

Blending Instructions:

  • Mix all contents in a highball glass and sitr gently
  • Add dash of Coca-Cola for the coloring and garnish with lemon or lime twist

Sidecar

Ingredients:

  • Cognac
  • Cointreau
  • Lemon Juice

Quantities for one drink:

  • 2 oz Cognac
  • 1/2 oz Cointreau
  • 1 oz Lemon Juice

Blending Instructions:

  • In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine all of the ingredients
  • Shake well
  • Strain into a cocktail glass
